King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) is striving towards a Green – Digital – Smart Campus under the principles of development to align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 17) of the United Nations.
These principles can be categorized into five main groups:
- People: Focusing on eliminating poverty and hunger and reducing inequalities in society.
- Planet: Emphasizing the protection and preservation of natural resources and climate for future generations.
- Prosperity: Promoting the well-being of people in harmony with nature.
- Peace: Upholding principles of peaceful coexistence, ensuring a tranquil and inclusive society.
- Partnership: Encouraging cooperation among all sectors to drive the sustainable development agenda.
These five aspects align with the Green – Digital – Smart Campus policy, which the institute is vigorously promoting. This policy integrates activities at all levels, including university, departmental, and individual levels, particularly among staff and students, to achieve the goal of becoming a sustainable university. These five aspects align with the Green – Digital – Smart Campus policy, which the institute is vigorously promoting.
