Smart Waste Management for a Sustainable Future

Student environmental volunteers from KMITL joined forces to collect krathong waste from the closed pond at King Mongkut Park, aiming to prevent waste accumulation and protect water quality.

Last year’s candle, this year’s light — Loy Krathong with a purpose.

Our way of celebrating Loy Krathong is changing — for the better.
With RECANDLE, we turn leftover candle wax from last year into beautiful recycled candle krathongs. Thoughtfully crafted by students, these krathongs symbolize a new cycle: not just of wax, but of awareness, care, and sustainability.
