KMITL Drives the Future of Thai Agriculture with National and International Partners
At the “Farming the Future with KMITL Forum 2025,” held last week in Chumphon, KMITL was honored to welcome Mr. Gijs Theunissen, Agricultural Counselor from the Embassy of the Netherlands in Thailand.
He was joined by a team of experts from Wageningen University & Research (WUR)—ranked No. 1 in the world for agriculture—to exchange visions on “Climate-Resilient Agriculture” and “Future Farm” concepts, which play a pivotal role in the future of Thai agriculture.
Furthermore, KMITL is working closely with the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC) and agricultural networks in Chumphon. Together, we are developing a modern agricultural ecosystem driven by data, science, innovation, and Public–Private–People Partnerships (PPPP).
KMITL is committed to transforming Chumphon into a “Living Lab for Agricultural and Food Innovation in Thailand,” establishing a sustainable collaboration model to foster further development at both national and regional levels.
