#JuniorEngineer: Inspiring the Next Generation of Innovators
On October 25, 2025, the School of Engineering, KMITL, in collaboration with Thai PBS, hosted the “Dream Explorer 3” event—a special program designed to help little dreamers explore cool careers!
Our young participants learned the fundamentals of engineering, developed systematic thinking skills, practiced engineer-style problem solving, and enjoyed an exciting hands-on learning experience.
🏗️ 5 Engineering Adventures:
-
The World of Engineering: An inspiring talk to open up the world of diverse engineering careers.
-
Site Exploration: A field survey adventure where kids got to try out real “Surveyor’s Leveling Cameras.”
-
The Concrete Lab: A hands-on session where juniors mixed their own concrete and tested its strength.
-
The Power of Steel: Learning the principles of rebar (steel reinforcement) in structures, including a live demonstration of tensile and strength testing.
-
Earthquake-Resistant Buildings: A fun, high-energy challenge using “Spaghetti Sticks” to build structures and test their resistance to vibrations.
This activity provided a foundation for future innovators to “Learn by Doing” in a real engineering environment.
