🕯️♻️ RECANDLE: Recycled Candle The Story of a Candle Krathong Reborn

🕯️🌊 RECANDLE – Recycled Candle Krathong
A story of sustainability and tradition, beautifully fused.

Let’s float light, not waste. 🌱
Introducing the “ReCandle” Krathong, made from recycled candles collected from last year’s Loy Krathong Festival — especially from the pond in King Mongkut Park at KMITL.

♻️ Why it’s special?
✨ Made from used candle wax — no leftover waste in the water
🎨 Available in various auspicious colors
🔁 Designed for reuse every year: floats in a closed-loop pond and collected for remelting
🌍 Environmentally friendly, water-safe, and full of meaning

📆 Friday, November 15, 2024
📍 King Mongkut Park, KMITL
🕔 Starts at 5:00 PM onwards
📍 Visit us at the familiar spot — near the flagpole, at the booth of the Office of Physical Resources and Environment.

Join us in our activity:
🎁 “Sort your waste and receive a candle krathong!”
Crafted with care by KMITL student volunteers, these krathongs are a symbol of conscious celebration.

🧡 Calling for volunteers!
We’re also recruiting student and staff volunteers to help collect candle krathongs the next day, so they can be remelted and reused again and again.
