IT KMITL Develops “Phitsanulok Drum Tower Metaverse” – Elevating Thai Tourism with MR and Digital Twin Technologies

On October 29, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapoj Kreesuradej, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), participated in the handover ceremony of the research project “Metaverse of the Drum Tower, Phitsanulok Province” to National Telecom Public Company Limited (NT).

This research project applies Digital Twin, Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR) technologies to enhance public relations and promote sustainable tourism. The ceremony took place at Conference Room 613, Faculty of Information Technology, KMITL.
