KMITL: Building Global Citizens Through Real-World Innovation
King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) collaborates with the Busan ICT Promotion Agency (BIPA) and Pusan National University (PNU) to cultivate Global Citizens—innovators equipped with cross-cultural competence, a global mindset, and the ability to create impactful innovations for the global society.
InterHack 2025: ICT Convergence for Human-Centric Solutions, held in Bangsaen, stands as a flagship initiative by KMITL. It establishes an international learning arena for Thai and South Korean students through a strategic partnership between KMITL, BIPA, and PNU.
Over the course of this 5-day international Hackathon, students from both institutions collaborated to develop Public Safety solutions, including:
Disaster Management Systems
Weapon Control and Public Space Safety Systems
Innovations for Elderly Care
“Inclusive City” Concepts
These projects reflect KMITL’s belief that “Human-Centric Innovation” emerges when youth from diverse cultures learn together and tackle real-world challenges.
KMITL extends its sincere gratitude to our key supporters:
BIPA – Busan ICT Promotion Agency
MHESRI – Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation
Special thanks to the experts and problem-setters from depa and AMATA, as well as the Thai-Korean mentor teams, for making this platform a true incubator for innovation skills and Global Citizen perspectives.
InterHack represents KMITL’s mission to mold socially responsible global citizens who understand global challenges and are ready to drive positive impact through technology and innovative entrepreneurship.
KMITL will continue to shape Global Citizens — ready to lead in a fast-changing world.
