Sustainability Forum 2026: Shift Forward – Overcoming Challenges” to Drive SDG Strategies

The KMITL Subcommittee on Driving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) recently participated in the “Sustainability Forum 2026: Shift Forward – Overcoming Challenges” to stay updated on emerging trends and global sustainability directions from national and international experts.

The forum covered a multidimensional range of critical topics, including clean energy directions, the sustainable economy, the business sector’s environmental role, the Climate Act, waste management, and supply chain innovation. These sessions provided fresh perspectives on formulating long-term organizational sustainability strategies.

KMITL was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarossawan Koywanich (Vice President for Property Management and Sustainability), Asst. Prof. Dr. Narongrit Chinchuntarawong (Assistant to the President for Physical Environment, Safety, and Environment), and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mattaya Kitiwan (Head of KMITL ExSciT Center).

Their participation marked a significant opportunity to bridge perspectives between the public and private sectors, exchanging policy insights and modern practices. The Subcommittee aims to apply the key takeaways, recommendations, and emerging SDG trends to systematically drive KMITL’s internal goals, ensuring they align with the institute’s context and contribute to national development.
