Pursuant to the Announcement on the Environmental Management Policy for Sustainable Quality of Life of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), KMITL is committed to promoting the sustainable development of the institution towards becoming a Sustainable University, and to fostering a healthy and supportive environment for both staff and students. Under the context of Thai higher education, the Institute strives to serve as a leading model in research and innovation development, moving towards a future built upon well-being and environmental friendliness. This commitment is aimed at ensuring a sustainable quality of life for students, personnel, and all stakeholders of the Institute.
In this regard, to ensure that the policies and operations of the Institute align with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations (UN), and to effectively advance sustainability and environmental conservation efforts—while also fostering an inclusive environment that is supportive of people of all ages and backgrounds, including disabled persons, children, youth, older persons, women, and other vulnerable groups, as well as promoting equality and embracing diversity—the Institute realizes the need to drive transformation toward becoming the Sustainable University of international standing. To achieve this vision and to maximize institutional benefit, KMITL hereby establishes the Steering Committee Members for the SDGs to formulate policy, oversee implementation, and coordinate collaborative efforts across all dimensions in a sustainable and effective manner.
By virtue of Section 34(1) of the King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang Act 2008, the Steering Committee Members for the SDGs of the Institute are hereby appointed as follows:

- Vice President for Physical and Environmental Affairs — Vice Chairperson
- Executive Vice Presidents — Committee Member
- Vice Presidents — Committee Member
- Dean of Academic Division — Committee Member
- Director of Other Functional Units — Committee Member
- President of 42 Bangkok — Committee Member
- Director of KMITL International Demonstration School (KMIDS) — Committee Member
- Office Directors — Committee Member
- Director of Property Management Office — Committee Member and Secretary
- Deputy Director of the Office of Property Management — Committee Member and Assistant Secretary
- Rattanaporn Pinkaeo — Committee Member and Assistant Secretary
- Chattiya Saisaard — Committee Member and Assistant Secretary
The Executive Committee shall be responsible for formulating policies and operational guidelines in alignment with the 17 SDGs of the UN. The Committee Members shall oversee, direct, supervise, control, and monitor the implementation of tasks carried out by the working groups, ensuring an integrated approach to sustainability across the Institute. Its responsibilities include ensuring that all activities are consistent with the Institute’s sustainability policies and the operational plan for enhancing the sustainable quality of life within the Institute, as previously defined.
